You can probably find a decent laptop for the same price as a netbook. Now if you want portability and lightness, by all means, get the netbook. But also keep in mind that netbooks have solid state hard drives with 1,000 read / write cycle limits, then it’s time for a new one. A year of Facebook and Elfwood would burn through that in a year. Think long and hard on this one, and talk to computer sales people to determine your needs. As for me, I now have an iPhone.  Chelsea L Pennelly replies: "Really? On the other hand, with an iPhone, I don’t need a tablet.
I saw your posting on Facebook about sticking with Apple computers. Here is a used but warrantied one from Amazon. You have to grab it as it comes along, but more always do. I’ve seen them cheaper too, but this is still a steal:

I’ve had several, but they all seem to loose their edge when they get hitched. Or maybe that’s just me. Kane seems quite interesting, but he’s being pushed aside a lot, like the author didn’t quite know how to use him, which is a real shame.
I’m sorry it took me two weeks to reply to your question. I don’t know where my time is going. (Okay, the last three days were spent with the new Angry Birds episode, I can’t put the phone down, until I get total destruction. I’m not an addict, no matter my husband says.)
